I am delighted to announce that two cars I prepared histories for have won four awards between them. Jaguar C-type XKC 044 now has two concours awards to its name: Second in Class in Post War Sports Racing at the 2025 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and Best in Show at the 2026 RAC Concours. Phantom II Continental 47-RY claimed two awards at the 2026 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance: Third in Class for Pre-war Rolls-Royce and the Montagu of Beaulieu award (given to the most significant car of British origin). It has been exhilarating bringing new information to light and preparing revised histories for these two very different cars – made all the more special by these awards.
